Si Han (family name + given name) was born in 1972 and grew up in Shandong province, China. Since 1996, he has lived in Göteborg Sweden, where he studied Art History and finished the PhD in Art History and Visual Studies in February 2008 at Göteborg University. He is currently curator of the Chinese collections at the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquties.

Research interests:
Chinese image theories and practices, East and West contact history, architecture in China during the 20th century, Chinese ceramics.
